- 1 lb green beans
- 1/4 c sliced almonds
- 2 tbsp. extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 tsp. sea salt
- Rinse green beans in a colander.
- Submerge green beans in 3-4 cups of water in a pot.
- Bring to a boil. Boil for 5-6 minutes.
- Remove from heat and drain out water.
- In a small saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Cook sliced almonds for 3-4 minutes.
- Add green beans to the pan, tossing to coat green beans in olive oil and almonds. Season with salt and serve.
