What is the ‘Pro’ version of Real Plans?
Real Plans Pro is a simple and powerful administrative dashboard that wraps around the Real Plans meal planning platform. This affordable tool makes it easy for you as a health professional to engage with your clients nutritional health, and monitor compliance in real time.
What is a ‘seat’ in Real Plans Pro?
A seat is reserved for your client. Seats are rotating and you can assign or unassign a seat to a client at any time. We recommend having a client in one of your seats for a limited amount of time of your choosing, which ultimately gets them in the habit of planning food. Once you unassign a seat, that seat is freed up again for you to assign to another client.
What are the diet types available to me in Real Plans Pro?
Real Plans supports nearly every major diet type and is flexible enough for mixed-diet families including Classic, Dairy Free, Gluten Free, AIP, Vegetarian, GAPS, Pescatarian, Keto, Paleo, and Mediterranean. You can even create your own custom diet types.
Can my client change to a different diet type if they decide?
Yes, and as often as they would like. The recipes in their planner will inspire them to love new types of food, meet personal goals or improve health challenges. Whenever their food groups and ingredient exceptions are updated in the settings tab, Real Plans will put together new meal plans for the following four weeks.
What about food allergies? Can my clients customize a meal plan to exclude certain items?
Yes. Allergies were one of the reasons we created Real Plans. You or your client can remove any food group they are allergic to (or just don’t like) in the settings tab.
How many recipes does Real Plans Pro offer?
We currently have over 2000 inspired recipes available in the meal planner and the list is continually growing and evolving.
Is there nutritional information on the recipes?
Yes. Each recipe has nutritional information on the recipe card. You and your clients can read it just like any other nutritional label— calories, carbohydrates, fats, etc. in each serving.
Can I set my clients up with Macro presets?
Yes. In the Client Management tab, under Macro Presets. Here you can add, view (or modify) a macro preset for your client including calories, carbohydrates, fats and proteins. These macros will then be applied to their meal plan recipes when their macro-driven plans are set to on.
Can I upload my own recipes for my clients in addition to the ones in Real Plans Pro?
Yes! You might have a recipes that are ‘tried and true’ and you can easily upload them to your clients meal plan.
Can I create a meal planning template that my clients can follow?
Yes. With Real Plans Pro, you can create an automated meal plan for your clients, or a unique meal planning template created by you, for them.
Can I market my business on printed materials?
Yes. We make it easy to brand any PDF that is printed by you. Simply upload your logo, company name and email address in the Profile section of the Pro Dashboard.
Can I print the meal plans for my clients?
Yes. You can print meal plans via PDF (with your branding) whether you have created automated ones, or templates, or both!
Can my clients use the Real Plans Pro email support, or do I have to teach them how to meal plan?
This is one of the greatest assets of Real Plans Pro! Your clients can click onto the leave a message button which is available 7 days a week, to fully support you both on your meal planning journeys.
In addition to the email support, is there additional support to get me set up with Real Plans Pro?
Yes! We have so much support available to you. You can watch video demos, read support articles and easy step by step instructions. We even have personal guidance available to get you set up for success.
Can I see if my client is using their meal planner?
Yes. You can view your clients engagement and see how many times they have logged in, the choices they have made and even if they have used the shopping list. Viewing client engagement helps monitor compliance and better understand how you can help them in their next appointment.

We are available on email support between 8am PST and 5pm PST. Outside of these hours, you are welcome to send us an email on support at realplans dot com and one of our agents will be available to help you as soon as possible.
How much does Real Plans Pro cost?
This is a recurring monthly charge. During the pandemic, we have cut costs to the following prices.
$39 per month for 1-15 seats (typically $79)
$99 per month for 16-50 seats (typically $199)
When will my credit card be charged each month?
As a subscription service, we automatically charge at every billing interval (every month, from the day you signed up.)
Where can I view or update my credit card information?
In the billing section of your account, when logged in to the Pro Dashboard.
How secure is your website for sending my credit card number?
We are an authorize.net verified merchant and process thousands of transactions per year. We use 128-bit bank level security for all communications involving financial transactions. Also, realplans.com uses HTTPS for all communication. All your data is encrypted.
Do I pay for the subscription or do you charge my client?
We charge you for your Pro subscription. Your client would not pay anything directly to us while using one of your seats.
Does the shopping list only include items in the recipes or can I add my own? What about items I need to restock regularly?
Yes! Food and other household items can be added directly to the list. And, you can schedule ingredients to appear on your shopping list at regular intervals like milk weekly, & bacon twice a month. You get it.
How does Instacart integration work?
From the shopping list in the meal planner, simply click on the Shop on Instacart button.
