Maple Chicken Breakfast Sausage

Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 2 tbsp. pure maple syrup
- 1 tsp. sea salt
- 1 tsp. dried sage
- 1 tsp. dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp. onion powder
- 1/2 tsp. ground black pepper
- 1/2 tsp. dried thyme
- 1/4 tsp. nutmeg
- 1/4 tsp. ground cloves
- 1/8 tsp. red pepper flakes
- 1 tbsp. coconut oil, or fat of choice
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients (except coconut oil). Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
- Form into patties.
- Melt coconut oil in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
- In small batches, cook until browned on both sides, cooked all the way through, and an internal temperature of 165F is reached. Serve.
