Ingredients

  • 2 lb pork shoulder
  • 4 cloves garlic
  • 1/3 c cilantro
  • 1 lime
  • 1/3 c apple cider vinegar
  • 1/3 c white wine
  • 1/3 c extra virgin olive oil
  • 4 tsp. ground cumin
  • 2 tsp. peppercorns
  • 2 tsp. dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp. coarse sea salt

Instructions

  1. Mince garlic and cilantro. Juice lime.
  2. Combine all ingredients well.
  3. Marinate pork for at least 4 hours, but up to 48 hours.
  4. Add all the ingredients in the slow cooker and cook on low for 6-8 hours until pork pulls apart easily with a fork.

  • The taste of this was great!! Easy to make and everyone loved it. I wanted to have leftovers, but there were none! However, it was almost overcooked after 3 hours on low.
