Put this homemade ranch dressing on your meal plan to make a zesty, perfectly balanced, and HEALTHY ranch dressing you can consume guilt-free to your heart’s content.
Classic and dairy-free options for our homemade ranch dressing
Our classic homemade ranch dressing is made with lemon, mayonnaise, Greek yogurt, herbs, garlic and onion powder, salt and pepper – most ingredients you probably have right there in your fridge and pantry. You can use fresh garlic if you prefer, but the granulated variety will impart a more familiar mellowness to your ranch.
If you’re avoiding dairy, you can still enjoy homemade ranch dressing. Our version substitutes full-fat coconut cream for the greek yogurt.
For either version, look for a good quality mayonnaise made with healthy oil – we stock up on avocado mayonnaise from our local grocery store or Thrive Market where we get the best prices. You can read about why to avoid oils like canola here. But by making your own homemade ranch with all these great ingredients, you’ll not only be serving up the best tasting dressing/dip, but also not compromising your family’s health.

Good flavor but runny. Needs less coconut milk. Used vegan mayo and had good flavor.
