How to Add Notes to Your Meal Planner

There are two kinds of notes you can add:  a recurring note to automatically show up on your planner every week and a one-time note to show up only on the week you have selected.

Add a recurring note

You can add a recurring note that will appear for the same meal time each week.

  • Click on Settings
  • SelectMy Meal Plan or Whole30 Meal Plan if you have Whole30 settings
  • This opens the Diet and Schedule page where you can make adjustments to your schedule.
  • ClickAdvanced scheduling
  • Click Add Noteunder the day of the week where the note is needed
  • Select the meal for when the note will be displayed
  • Enter the text for your note
  • Click Add

Pro Tip – making changes on this page will reset your menu. Be sure to make the changes before you have shopped for the week.

Remove a recurring note

  • Click on Settings
  • SelectMy Meal Plan or Whole30 Meal Plan if you have Whole30 settings
  • This opens the Diet and Schedule page where you can make adjustments to your schedule.
  • Click Advanced scheduling
  • Click the X next the note that you wish to remove

Save changes

  • ClickSaveon the Schedule page, which takes you back to the Diet and Schedule page.
  • ClickSaveagain at the bottom of the Diet and Schedule page to apply your changes.

Confirm your changes

  • Update my plan
    • Applies your changes to the current week and future weeks
    • This overwrites your entire plan, including the current week
  • Update my future plan
    • Applies your changes on the following week’s meal plan
    • The current week will not change

Add a one-time note

You can add a one-time note that will only appear in the meal time you have selected on a specific week.

  • Open your Meal Planner
  • Click the + next to the day of the week the note will be scheduled
  • Select the meal that will be associated with the note
  • In the Add Recipe/Note window, type your note into the middle box
  • Click Add

Change a one-time note

  • Click on the note in your Meal Planner
  • Make your changes
  • Click Add to save your changes

Remove a one-time note

  • Click on the note and drag it to the trash can
