  • 1 pound ground chicken
  • 2 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 2 teaspoons coarse sea salt
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil, or bacon fat


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, maple syrup, salt, sage, parsley, garlic powder, onion powder, thyme, cinnamon, and cloves.
  2. Mix until all ingredients are well-incorporated.
  3. Form into patties.
  4. Melt coconut oil or bacon fat in a skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. In small batches, cook until browned on both sides and cooked all the way through. Serve.
